Professor Kennedy K.H. CHAN

Professor Kennedy Chan is a member of the PISA 2025 in Hong Kong project. He contributes his expertise in the discipline of Science, and assists with the review of adaptations and translation of research instruments and Science coder training. His research focuses on science teachers' professional knowledge and practice, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), formative assessment and the use of videos in teacher education. Professor Chan implements research-led teaching methods in his instructional practices. His commitment to excellence in teaching has been recognised through various awards, such as the 2017 University Early Career Teaching Award, and the 2017 Student-led University Teaching Feedback Award. He serves as the chairperson of the working group for reviewing the HKDSE Biology curriculum and the HKDSE Subject Committee for Biology.
