Project Team Member (Mathematics)
Professor Ida A.C. MOK
Professor Ida A.C. Mok is an associate professor in the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong. She is a project team member of the PISA 2025 in Hong Kong Project, assisting with the mathematical literacy domain of PISA 2025. Her research interests include mathematics education, curriculum and instruction, and qualitative research. Professor Mok has published books on international comparative studies in Mathematics; learning of algebra; and classroom discourse. She also actively participates in knowledge exchange activities such as offering courses for secondary school teachers on mathematics education in the English medium; and raising teachers’ English language awareness in teaching different key learning areas. She has supervised over 20 research postgraduate students at HKU since 2005. Professor Mok is a life member of the Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Association.
