Dr Alex W.C. TSE

Dr Alex W.C. TSE is a Project Member of PISA 2025 in Hong Kong for the innovative domain "Learning in the Digital World", supporting the framework development of this domain and review of its research instruments. He is currently a Lecturer at the Academic Unit of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong, mainly responsible for teaching, research and projects of STEM education, information technology in education, critical thinking, assessment for learning and inquiry-based learning etc. He has been serving as a programme committee member for the Master of Science in Technology, Design and Leadership for Learning at HKU since 2019. Dr Tse has published more than 50 refereed journal or conference papers, serving as a manuscript reviewer of various academic journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Learning Technologies, Educational Technology & Society, Education Sciences, Research and Practice in Technology Enhanced Learning, Frontiers in Education and International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education etc. He was an invited speaker at various international academic conferences, like ICETC2022, CSTE2023, ICETC2023 and ICEMI2023 etc., acting as a programme committee co-chair, programme committee member or/and reviewer of more than 20 academic conferences in IT in Education, STEM education or/and innovation in education.
